Preparatory drawing for the lithograph “Französin” (Karsch 226), used as a poster for the Otto Dix exhibition at Gallery Klihm in Munich. The gallery owner, Dr. Hans Helmut Klihm was the administrator of the estate of Otto Dix and bound to the artist in deep friendship. The portrayed person is Roberte Holly-Logeais, who was a pupil of Otto Dix between 1955 and the early 1960s and stood model for several artworks by the artist’s hand.
