1960s, for Fornasetti, Milan, two-piece cylindrical construction made of glazed stoneware, polychrome lithograph with depiction of pipes and inscription ‘Tobacco’ on white ground with gold-coloured decoration in the form of bands. Marked on the underside with company signet and brush mark, E., dimensions height c. 25 cm, diameter c. 16 cm. Slight signs of age and use, partly scratches and partial abrasions, slight scattered losses (to the glaze). (MHA)
