Northwest Anatolia (Turkey), c. 370 x 280 cm, about 1970, silk carpets from Hereke, such as the present item, with c. 1. mill. kts/sqm, were manufactured only in very small numbers, very appealing pattern in yellow-gold tones with blue medallions; the carpet is in perfect condition and was never really walked on subjected to heavy use, with signature "Hereke" on the right outer edge.
