RALPH RUCCI, born in Philadelphia in 1957, is an American fashion designer and artist best known for Chado Ralph Rucci, a luxury clothing and accessories line. His clothes are preserved in the permanent collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Phoenix Art Museum, the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Texas Fashion Collection in Denton, Texas, among others.
