1907/8, for Jacob & Josef Kohn, Vienna, pier-like frame on four legs, stained beechwood, curved edge with four balls underneath the front corners of the seat, two balls at the rear corners, the tall backrest in the form of two abstracted hairpins joined by seven ball ornaments, height approx. 109 cm, width approx. 44 cm, depth approx. 47 cm. Renzi, Il mobile moderno, Gebrüder Thonet Vienna, Jacob & Josef Kohn, Milan 2008, pp. 206ff. This model was presented at the Vienna Kunstschau in 1908. Documented for the first time as Model No. 371, it appeared in the 1909 factory catalogue, but ceased to be advertised in the 1916 factory catalogue.
